Rob James has been a full-time table magician since 2001, entertaining at hundreds of the most prestigious hotels and venues across the UK and worldwide. From the House of Commons to The Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai and international bookings throughout Europe, the Middle East and the USA including two separate runs and a record-breaking 62 performances at the exclusive Los Angeles members club, The Magic Castle. Rob has repeatedly appeared performing amazing magic on TV in the UK as well as internationally.
A dynamic and intelligent performer with a dry sense of humour, Rob is equally at home in front of corporate audiences as well as mixed age groups at private events.
Corporate clients include BBC Television. HBOS, Samsung, First National Bank, BMW, Sony, Apple and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In 2008 Rob was awarded the Rovi award for excellence in sleight of hand magic as well as being awarded second place overall for close-up magic by the International Brotherhood of Magicians – the world’s biggest organisation for professional magicians. In 2009 he was the top scoring British performer at the European Close up Magic Championships in front of 3000 of his peers.
